My name is Julie McKintosh, and I am an Instructional Specialist at Keene ISD. I was a classroom teacher for six years at Mansfield ISD, and then moved into curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on technology due to my passion for integrating digital tools of today into quality instruction.
I am also a busy mom of five kids that keep our home quite active and full of laughter. My oldest daughter, Olivia, is a student at the University of Texas at Arlington pursuing an education degree. Ashley and Nicole are my twin daughters. Ashley is a student at UTA pursing a degree in biology. Nicole is pursing a sonography certification through Tarrant County Community College. My son, Ethan, is also a student at UTA working towards an education degree. Finally, the "baby" of the family is Livy who is currently a senior at Frontier High School in MISD. Livy also wants to pursue a certification in sonography.
We have a houseful of animals comprised of two dogs (El and Luckee), cats, fish, and a tortoise named Annabeth.
Home truly is where my heart is...
