WALT: Use multiplicative reasoning to find volume.
In your Math books, try to figure out all the possible dimensions that could find the total volumes of the answers in the follow up activity. One answer per question is not acceptable, you need to show your understanding by sharing multiple dimensions.
Work with those around you if you get stuck. We will work on the first one together.
WALT: Find the volume of uncommon 3D shapes
Following on from our DMIC session yesterday, use one of the two strategies to find the volume of the two shapes in your follow up questions.
Please show your workin in your math books, so please make sure that your writing and structure in your math book MAKES SENSE!
WALT: Find the volume of 3D shapes
While the first half are completing DMIC, grab a double sides sheet with these two questions on them and show your working out on the sheet or in your book. P
Please make sure you put your name on it and hand to Mrs Foster when completed.
When you have finished this learning, head to IXL for the remainder of your lesson.

WALT: Draw and represent 3D shapes
Using the DMIC follow up questions, grab some Isometric paper (this is much easier to draw on for 3D shapes) and create the cuboids.
You may use the blocks and then draw on the Isometric paper. If you also want to take photos of your cuboids and add them to a document to show your creations, you may also do this.
WALT: Understand the order of operations (BEDMAS or BODMAS)
After spending some time with Mrs Foster, complete the questions above from the Level 4 AWS.
Complete as many as you want that make you feel comfortable with knowing how to complete the learning, but you must do a variety from ALL 3 sections. Show ALL working in your books please
WALT: Understand how to find the square and square root of a number
After spending some time with Mrs Foster, complete the questions above from the Level 4 AWS.
Complete as many as you want that make you feel comfortable with knowing how to complete the learning, but you must do a variety from BOTH sections. Show ALL working in your books please

WALT: Add fractions with the same denominator
WALT: Add fractions with different denominators
Please make a copy of the slides, add your name and put this into your 2024 Math folder. Follow along the slides with me, do NOT skip ahead!
WALT: Understand the importance of a number line
WALT Read Scales
Looking at the activity sheet, page one is needing you to read the scales and put down a measurement from each of the number lines. Please make sure to look at WHAT the measurement is for each scale.
Page two is needing you to draw in or identify where the measurement needs to go IN the scale given.
Make sure to double check your readings!
