This required course is designed to help students better understand the interrelationships of exercise, nutrition, and overall wellness for life. This course will teach students the concepts of the five areas of fitness and fundamentals of good nutrition and how they relate to quality of life. Based on information learned in the class each student will develop a plan to stay fit for life. This course will be a combination of both physical as well as classroom activities.
All Days: Each student should come prepared to class each day with their chromebook (charged or with a charger), notebook, any work that is due and something to write with.
Active Days: Sneakers (non-marking soles), appropriate clothing for athletic participation and a positive attitude.
If you ever need clarity on course content or an assignment please see your teacher to arrange a time to meet. We can’t help you if we are not aware that you need help, and we want you all to succeed! Extra help is always available.
