Summer building programme: As you are aware we have several building projects planned for our school, all of which will begin in the summer holidays. One of those projects includes major works to Rooms 1 to 4 in the senior area of the school. Because of capacity issues all classrooms around the school will be occupied with full classes from the first day of term and the future occupants of those rooms will be housed in different classrooms during Term 1.
This means that once the works are complete we will need to shift classes around, and this affects a lot of students. Our new entrants who begin in Term 1 are most likely going to need to be reorganized once we have all of our rooms back.
Whilst the plan is that the works will be completed for the start of term 2, there is a chance they will continue beyond that date and we have a plan to cater for that. There is no way of avoiding these works which are required of us by the Ministry of Education, but we will attempt to minimize the disruption to school programmes. Ultimately we will have improved facilities as a result.
We will continue to give you full updates as we go along and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
