Our site is getting a pawsitive update!
The life of every cat is precious to us regardless of age, breed or health
At Katie’s Place, we rescue and care for small animals—finding loving homes for those we can and offering a safe, forever haven for those who need it. The shelter is named after Katie, the first resident and the rightful owner of the barn where we began.
These days, up to 125 cats live here at any one time, including those recovering, newcomers getting settled, and our sweet FIV/FeLV+ kitties—who are still dreaming of families to call their own.
All life is valuable, and we are responsible for improving the quality of life for all those in our care. We make no judgment on whose life is worth rescuing. The sick, elderly and homely are as precious to us as the healthy, young and attractive.
