I love light bulb moments! You know, that look in someone’s eye when a compelling thought dawns or a convergence of ideas or experiences finally makes sense. These are the moments that shift our thinking and often the trajectory of our lives.
With over 30 years of experience working with both non-profit and for-profit corporations in the areas of education, program management, leadership development and coaching, I bring experience, skill, insight, adaptability, curiosity and compassion to my clients whether they are individuals, small groups or corporate teams. I am a trained and certified life coach and currently serving as the president of WayPoint Coaching, a professional community of coaches, therapists, spiritual directors and pastors.
I've learned from personal experience that it takes courage to live the life you want, to become REAL and true. It doesn't happen in a moment but in many moments strung together with grace and grit. Mary Oliver says, "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your wild and precious life?" Stewarding my one wild and precious life has required me to let go of some things in order to grab hold of something deeper. I've been fortunate to have people in my life who believe in me, ask important questions and challenge but don't judge me or my process. Instead, they cheer me on and see me even when I am hidden from myself. And in the process I find my life, I find my voice, I find my way - It's freedom!
I love coffee, long walks in the forest, good friends, podcasts, the intricacies and sacredness of what it means to be human and following Jesus who is my Way.
I am married to Tim and together we have a son, 2 daughters and a son-in-law. We are at that fantastic stage where we love hanging out together as adults.
