Hi!  

My name is Mrs. Smith and I am the school counselor at Kutztown Elementary School!  I am an advocate, resource, and support for students, families, and teachers.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns as we move through this school year.  I can be reached through email at mtillsmith@kasd.org or contacted at school at 610-683-3557 ext. 3.

 A little bit about myself...   I enjoy working with kids and I love my job as a school counselor!  I am a Certified Elementary School Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Westminster College and a Masters of Educational Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh.   I am a member, and past board member, of PSCA (Pennsylvania School Counselors Association), ASCA (American School Counselors Association),  and current treasurer and past president of BASCA (Berks Area School Counselors Association).  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling (especially to the beach!), reading, listening to music, paddle boarding, and spending time with my husband, two daughters, and puppy dog, Bruin.

I am looking forward to a great school year together!
