Thank You Letters - Term 4 2025
Task: Many of us have just had a fantastic time on camp at Shantytown. We are so lucky to have fantastic parent support for this event. Your task is to thank one parent who supported you with camp. You may have been in their car or they may have helped you with an activity or challenge.
If you did not make camp you can thank your own parents for taking you on a special trip or activity.
Key competencies/values: Respect, participating and contributing
Walt: write a letter to thank someone.
Success Criteria -
At the top you have your address and date.
It needs to start with Dear, Kia ora or Hello (and who you are writing to)
A paragraph thanking the person for their support for our camp/event. Remember they have given up their time and possibly taken time off work to support you on camp.
A paragraph about what you found the most enjoyable thing at camp. What did you like the most?
A paragraph about the most challenging thing that you experienced in camp. Think of something new that you did or a challenge you overcame.
Close with another thank you for your support with our camp. .
At the end, put who it is from (Kind Regards/ Ngā mihi/ Yours Sincerely)
