Career Guidance and Placement cell has started on 6th June 2020. Dr. Sandhya Kaveri K , Principal is the Chairman and Mr. Ganesha H , Librarian is the  Convener and four teaching members are nominated by the Principal as the members of the cell. Periodic meetings are held and the students are briefed of career opportunities. Students are at the liberty to meet the convener and the members at any time on all working days.

Career Guidance and Placement cell (CGPC) of the college functions with the objective of providing guidance and assistance for the students to achieve their career goals. It provides awareness on higher studies, self employment and job opportunities. The unit takes adequate steps in identifying the current demands of the society and prepares students towards this need. Adequate emphasis is given for soft skill development complementing the regular academic performance .Placements are increasingly playing a major role in any higher educational institution of repute. We are proud of the success of our systematic and sustained approach in helping to launch our students on a meaningful career path. The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of our college plays a vital role in shaping the careers of our students. Our college attracts some of the best names in the list of organisations who know the quality of human resource that we create.

• To assess the aptitude of students and relate them to their preference of job

• To organize  trainings,seminars and workshops to develop potentials for job or entrepreneurship

• To access available  literatures/brochures and related information

• To provide information on job opportunities

• Ensuring employment for the final year students through Placement Cell which is functioning with adequate facilities.

• To identify employment opportunities to students

1. The Committee should guide students through an information-gathering process about self and the world of work to determine which academic programs or careers might be a good match for them. For example, counselors can assist students with clarifying values, examining interests, identifying skills, resolving chronic indecision, developing insight into personality type, and communicating with parents about career decisions.

2. The Career Center  can assist the students with job and internship search strategies, developing a resume, building interview skills, and networking with professionals in the respective fields.

3. To make tie ups with the relevant Institutions/Companies for suitable placement for the students.

4. Placement Cell makes liaison with these Companies/institutions/organizations and arranges for career placement.

5. The Cell should take responsibility in conducting campus interviews and in house interviews in coordination with the student welfare committee, HR Department of Manasa Trust to submit the reports then and there to the Principal/Management.

6. The Cell may also organize workshops/seminars/guest lectures for the students to improve their self-confidence, to build positive attitude, etc.

7. Reports on the activities of the Cell should be periodically sent to the Principal/Management.
