Nurturing Your Child’s Mind
Nurturing Your Child’s Mind
As we guide your children through their educational journey, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of nurturing not just academic skills, but also the overall development of their young minds. A child’s mental growth is shaped by curiosity, creativity, emotional intelligence, and the supportive environment around them both at school and at home.
We encourage you to engage with your child in meaningful conversations, ask open-ended questions, and create opportunities for exploration and expression. Simple habits like reading together, playing thoughtful games, encouraging problem-solving, and being attentive listeners can make a significant difference.
At school, we are committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment. With your continued involvement, we can work hand in hand to ensure that every child grows into a confident, thoughtful, and resilient individual.
Thank you,

Doctor's Day Celebration
At Kanakia Kids, we honored National Doctor’s Day by inviting a dedicated medical professional to enlighten our young learners about health and hygiene. The session emphasized the importance of cleanliness, balanced nutrition, and regular health check-ups. Our curious students actively participated, posing thoughtful questions and gaining valuable insights into maintaining a healthy lifestyle
This initiative not only celebrated the invaluable contributions of doctors but also instilled essential health habits in our students. Such awareness programs are pivotal in fostering a foundation of well-being from an early age.
Familiarization of the school for Play Group
Our Play Group students had a joyful and heartwarming first day!
We welcomed our little ones with Kumkum Tika and fun photo moments in our “First Day of School” frame. Parents joined us for an informative orientation and a light yoga session with their children, creating special bonding moments.
The day continued with engaging activities and a lovely palm printing craft made by both parents and kid. As a cheerful takeaway, each child received a cute crafty umbrella to remember their first day!
A perfect beginning to a journey filled with love, learning, and laughter

THEME - Personal Hygiene
Our little learners had a fun and educational time with "Theme Activity" focused on personal hygiene!
The children actively participated in interactive activities like "Brush Your Teeth" and "Wash Your Hands", learning important life skills through play and creativity. Using colorful visuals, markers, and hands-on tools, they understood the importance of keeping themselves clean and healthy in a fun and engaging way.
Activities like these not only help build good hygiene habits early on but also enhance motor skills, concentration, and confidence.

JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN
ENGLISH - Learning Letters in a Fun Way
Our enthusiastic little learners had an engaging and educational time exploring the world of alphabets through hands-on activities!
In one of the sessions, children practiced letter recognition and fine motor skills using colorful worksheets and stamp activities. Each page turned into a canvas of creativity as they learned letters like "A" and "C" through fun-filled exercises.
Meanwhile, in another exciting activity, students used playdough to mold and form the letter "Ee", turning language learning into a tactile and imaginative experience. This multi-sensory approach boosts not only alphabet awareness but also strengthens hand muscles and coordination.
ART & CRAFT - Creative Expression in Art & Craft Class
All About Me
In the Art and Craft lecture, our talented students created beautiful and thoughtful cards on the theme "All About Me." This fun and reflective activity encouraged them to express their unique personalities, interests, and dreams through vibrant colors, drawings, and words. Each card was a delightful glimpse into their world – showcasing creativity, self-awareness, and imagination. It was a joyful experience that blended art with self-expression, allowing every child to shine in their own special way.
SENIOR KINDERGARTEN
THEME - Colouring the Five Sense Organs
Our little learners had an amazing learning session as they coloured pictures of the five sense organs – eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin!
Through this creative activity, students not only enjoyed using vibrant colours but also reinforced their understanding of how the sense organs help us experience the world around us.
It was a perfect blend of art and science, helping young minds connect learning with creativity.
ENGLISH - Vowels House & Phonics on the Floor
Our young learners had an exciting and interactive day filled with activities based on English language in order to make learning activities designed to make learning both fun and meaningful!
Vowel House Activity:
Students practiced identifying and writing vowels (a, e, i, o, u) by writing them inside the house cutout worksheet. This creative approach helped reinforce their understanding of vowels while boosting fine motor skills and letter recognition!
Jump & Read – Phonics Floor Activity:
Teachers took learning to the floor by drawing three-letter CVC (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant) words like cat, fan, dad, cab, etc. Students enthusiastically jumped on each letter, sounded it out phonetically, and blended the sounds to read the word aloud! These joyful, movement-based learning sessions promote literacy, phonemic awareness, and confidence in reading – all while having loads of fun!
MATH - Math Magic in Action
Ones & Tens with Candy Sticks:
Students revised number concepts by grouping colorful candy sticks into ones and tens, helping them understand place value in a fun and visual way. Numbers came alive as they matched and counted with great enthusiasm!
Colours & Connect Activity:
In a vibrant and colourful way learners of K2 paired similar colors using the matching colour strips of papers. This activity ended up in a creation of a beautiful pattern. This creative approach blended math with art, boosting their observational skills and fine motor coordination.
STEM - Fun in Action
Our curious young minds had a blast exploring science through hands-on STEM activities that sparked creativity and critical thinking!
Magnetic Butterfly Activity:
Students explored the magic of magnetism by creating their own colorful butterflies that could "fly" using magnetic force. This interactive experiment helped them understand how magnets attract and move objects without touching them – turning science into wonder!
Balloon Hover Game:
With the Balloon Hover experiment, our little scientists learned about air pressure and propulsion. By releasing air from the balloons through a simple setup, they discovered how force can move objects – making learning both exciting and educational!
These activities not only introduced basic scientific principles but also nurtured teamwork, problem-solving, and curiosity — the true spirit of STEM learning
