Managing Director

As a senior management professional, Monali has a 20 year track record of scaling operations and teams for product and service organizations. At Kamadolli Strategy Group, she leads our management consulting practice focused on product and organizational efficiency at high-tech and non-profit organizations.

Prior to that her experiences include 12 years in high tech senior management which culminated in her role as Senior Vice President of Product Development at Syncra Systems. She was a founding team member at Syncra and rose to lead a team of developers, testers and quality engineers; she was responsible for building world class supply chain optimization software that was used by some of the largest retailers and CPG manufacturers in the world before being acquired by Retek in 2004 (now Oracle).

Monali has spearheaded client initiatives in product development, services rollouts, process re-engineering, strategic alliances, business development and investment decisions, primarily at the behest of CEOs, corporate Boards of Directors and investors. These projects spanned several clients across the USA and some in India.

She received an MPA from the Kennedy School at Harvard University, an MS in Information Systems from Clarkson University and a graduate degree in commerce and economics from the University of Bombay.

Shyam Kamadolli

Managing Director

Shyam brings 14 years of technology entrepreneurship and operating experience in addition to 7 years of investing experience that spans the US, India and Europe. Since 2006 he has led technology deals for Fidelity Investment’s venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) funds first in Boston and then in Mumbai (India). As an ICT investor, he has produced successful exits in India and the US across sectors like datacenters, managed services and information security.

Before joining the VC firm he drove business development at RSA Security, a stint he capped off by leading the sale of the security focused business to EMC Corp. – for $2.3B – as the largest technology trade sale of 2006.

At Kamadolli Strategy Group, he leads our asset management advisory practice, where he works with clients that include Fortune 500 corporations, family offices, and VC/PE funds. His clients also include startups and companies that seek to alter their capital structure or otherwise need help with growth and financiing strategy.

Shyam is a graduate of Columbia Business School in New York and London Business School in the UK. He has previously received an MS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bombay.
