Nurturing a just and inclusive community where all can thrive

Public education is crucial for a functioning democracy and the community's well-being. A robust educational system benefits not only students but the entire community. Through public education, we nurture informed and engaged citizens who can contribute to a fair and equitable society. We are creating community-based support for educators, fostering a culture of appreciation and solidarity to uplift those shaping the next generation.

In today’s increasingly diverse world, embracing the richness of different cultures, perspectives, and experiences is essential. We are committed to an environment where all individuals are valued, respected, and allowed to contribute to community life.

One initiative under this priority is creating an annual Indigenous Peoples Day event to acknowledge and honor Indigenous peoples' history, culture, and contributions, address the historical injustices they have faced, and build connections.

Our ability to connect across differences has been strained in an age of social isolation, media-driven division, and rapid change. We amplify the voices of those most impacted but often excluded, including individuals with lived experiences of mental illness, addiction, disability, incarceration, and marginalized communities. We strive for a more empathetic and connected community by promoting mental well-being and fostering dialogue.
