Kalaheo High Summer Academy

Kalaheo High School is NO LONGER accepting applications for our Summer Academy. All enrolled students should have received an email confirmation from Vice Principal Jay Lin. You can contact Jay Lin at jay.lin@k12.hi.us.

Dear Kalaheo Summer Academy Applicants:

Our Summer Academy is for Kalaheo High School students only and begins Wednesday, June 2, 2021. The Summer Academy will be for all courses listed and will be conducted physically in-person via Acellus. The Summer Academy registration is open via online. Students are able to take up to two courses. Please email your alpha counselor to confirm which courses you should take.

Payment is not necessary to register for Summer Academy.

Summer Academy Registration will begin on April 19, 2021 for Kalaheo High students. Final date to register is May 28, 2021.

Registration Process

1. All Kalaheo Summer Academy applicants must read the Registration Procedures and Information document found here. You will be asked to agree to this information on the registration form.

Summer School Dates:

  • Year Courses (22 instructional days): Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - Friday July 2, 2021

  • Semester 1 Courses (11 instructional days): Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - Thursday, June 17, 2021

  • Semester 2 Courses (11 instructional days): Friday, June 18, 2021 - Friday, July 2, 2021

    • No School on June 11, Kamehameha Day

  • Classes will be held on Kalaheo campus Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon daily. A 15-minute recess is included.

2. Kalaheo High School students will need to verify course choices with their alpha counselor. Please see the posted list of courses available for both credit recovery and advancement. Please note that credit recovery is for students who have failed a course and are given first priority.

3. Fill out the Registration Form. As a reminder, All Kalaheo Summer Academy applicants must read the Registration Procedures and Information document found here. You will be asked to agree to this information on the registration form.
