Susan Gibson
Sunday, August 9th
Doors: 6:30 PM | Show: 7:00 PM
Award-winning songwriter Susan Gibson knows all about blessings, hard roads, and the kind of songs that take on a life of their own. Nearly three decades after writing “Wide Open Spaces,” which became one of the biggest country songs of all time, Gibson has continued building a life on the road — traveling with dogs, songs, and a clear-eyed commitment to telling the truth.
Her songs carry the perspective of someone who has known grief, sobriety, family loss, heartbreak, healing, and the long miles between them — but still finds a way to leave listeners feeling wiser, lighter, and uplifted. Whether writing about the things that hurt or finding the humor and resilience buried inside them, Gibson brings honesty, warmth, and connection to every room she plays.
