Dralandra Larkins

Published Spoken Word Artist

Dralandra is an award winning spoken word poet, arts educator, curator, and community healer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Publication of her work has appeared in the Minnesota Women’s Press, Witness Writers and multiple anthologies. She is the co-editor of Cracked Walnut’s anthology “Rewilding Hope, 2023,” and a local teaching artist who's worked with community programs throughout the metro area. She’s collaborated and competed on platforms including the MN Black Authors Expo, Button Poetry, Black Business Ball Enterprise. She is the creator of the "Pocket Poetry Dispenser" held at Next Chapter Booksellers in St. Paul, MN. An active arts & social advocate, she serves on multiple boards, including Cracked Walnut’s board of directors, and is a member of The League of MN Poets and Art to Change the World. Influenced by Black history, culture, and the soul of R&B, Dralandra’s poetic expression is rhythm, spirit, and intimacy. She loves storytelling through the subjects of spirituality, identity, and community. As a witness to trauma, she dedicates her work to the art of healing, self-love, and liberation. Emmy Woods

Musician 

Emmy Woods was born and raised on an old dirt road in small town North Dakota and currently resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota. With hints of country, folk, and blues, Emmy’s songs showcase both her knack for storytelling, her strengths in musical artistry, and her impressive vocal abilities cultivated by years of practice. Audiences enjoy a collection of tunes that are at once soft and strong, fragile and fierce. When asked to describe her music in three words, lover of music Kyle Smith said “Queer Farm Vibes.”


Victoria Shelander

Victoria Shelander is a writer and visual artist living in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her most recent publication appears in Fatal Flaw Magazine. Her work draws inspiration from how we experience our senses and how those experiences interact with the human condition. Her background in neuroscience and psychology influences her unique perspective. Her primary art forms are drawing, painting, and poetry.

Adam David Bohanan

Musician

Born in New York and raised all over the world, Adam has a distinct perspective on the world. Being Black and Jewish, he brings culture and diversity to his music. He aims to play Jazz, soul, funk and R’n’B. Think Stevie Wonder meets D’Angelo.
