*K20 Special* - International Travel (Majorca) - (March, 2022)
Recently K20 has taken up the move to carry out a yearly trip to Majorca during the month of March. 11 riders both from K20 and beyond, enjoyed a series of ardeous and beautiful climbs in Majorca, including the famous Sa Calobra.
The trip was fully organised by a rider within the group. Justin. Rounding the troops - to produce what appeared to be a absolutely sensational trip. This encapsulates everything K20.
Etiquette
How we ride?
Here in KZero we have a no drop policy - Riders may attack a climb or section but we will wait at a junction.
Every rider has a day when they burn out.
Our aim at KZero is to ensure a strong bond between all riders that support each other to have a good time, we will ride some sections fast, ensuring potholes are spotted... but some sections will be VERY fast (safety dependent).
Here is some simple guidance to follow:
Communicate throughout the group - If someones dropping, say it.
Roll off the front - Don't ride off into the sunset. It helps no one.
Call out holes - obviously. Use hand signals (Refer to the hand signal policy in K20 website).
It's a group ride.
Be supportive.
Split groups - in case of larger groups, sometimes we will split.
If you are not adhereing to this, you will be told.
Welcome to KZero
