Hello, Hollymead Families!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 13 is our First Day of School!!!
Student arrival begins at 7:40AM each day and the doors will close at 7:55AM. Students are expected to be in classrooms by 7:55AM each day! Students will be considered late at 7:56 AM. Class transitions begin promptly at 8:00 AM. It is essential that all students are in the building and ready to go on time. Student dismissal will be from 2:25-2:45PM daily.
Morning Drop Off
To help us move everyone through safely and efficiently, morning drop-off begins at 7:40 AM. Our students need to be in their seats ready to learn before 8:00am! Please follow these important procedures:
Look for teachers directing traffic and pull all the way up!
Once your car stops and the passenger side door is at the yellow curb, your child should exit the vehicle immediately.
If you have child safety locks and need assistance, turn on your hazard lights, a staff member will come open the door.
For safety reasons, do not pass cars in the drop-off lane.
Students should exit on the right-hand (passenger) side only.
If your child cannot exit from the right-hand side or needs more time, please park in the lot and walk them to the crosswalk, where Mrs. King will be stationed to safely stop traffic and escort your child across.

Dismissal - First Three Days of School
During the school year, we begin dismissal at 2:25PM for Car Pickup. At that time we begin a staggered dismissal of our bus riders on the five buses that provide transportation for students. Once those buses are loaded, approximately 2:35-2:40PM, we dismiss walkers and bike riders.
Note: If you are a Car Pickup and have not checked in with Ms. King, please have your ID ready to present.
For the first 3 days of school, we will dismiss on the schedule below. Please be mindful that the times listed represent 5 minute windows. Actual dismissal may be quicker or take longer than listed.
At 2:15PM - Car Riders, EDEP and Bus #158
Between 2:20-2:25PM - Bus #144 and the ACAC Bus
Between 2:25-2:30PM - Bus #59 and Bus #187
Between 2:30-2:40PM - Walkers and Bike Riders

Many of our children at Hollymead require health plans and support for a variety of needs. Linked below are a number of forms that families may need for health care plans and medication administration forms. Forms and any should be filled out by both families and physicians and any necessary medications sent in prior to the start of school!
