COVID-19 Closure Resources for Staff and Students/Families

As schools, students, families, and communities plan for and experience closures, the Tully Central School District is committed to providing ongoing guidance and resources as we work together through this unprecedented and extremely challenging situation together. The most current guidance and resources are provided through this website as well as the TES/JSHS COVID-19 Closure sites.

Resources and important information for educators, students and families can be accessed under the drop down menu to the left of this page.

Supporting students and families during challenging times.

April 15, 2020

Dear Tully CSD Families,

We hope this email finds you well and that you are all staying healthy. As your children continue adjusting to distance learning, “staying in place,” and social distancing, we encourage families to develop a daily routine which includes academics, time with family, and time for relaxation and wellness activities.

As we wrap up this first month away from school, we want to remind you that as students navigate through these uncertain times, their mental health and well being continues to be one of our top priorities. We have included resources on our webpage that can help continue to facilitate conversations with your child regarding their concerns with COVID-19, as well as tips and advice on how students can stay mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy. Please check these out here: COVID-19 Staff/Student Resources. We continue to update this website periodically as new information on COVID-19 arises. The Elementary Social Worker Website (Elem. Social Worker) and the Tully JSHS Counseling Center website (JSHS Counselors) each have helpful resources for families as well.

Additionally, we are available if your child needs some further support throughout this time away from school. We can be reached through email or phone and can also set up meetings through Google Meet or Zoom. We are here to help provide information, support, referrals to services, check-ins with students, and counseling during these trying times. Please do not hesitate to reach out to one of us.

Please stay healthy and safe!
