What is Aspen?

Aspen Student Information System (SIS) is a centralized platform used by the Somerville Public Schools to host and manage student data. Aspen SIS safely and securely stores data like class schedules, school events, student performance, athletic eligibility, individual health records, and much more.

Every student has an assigned Aspen number (which starts with 111) and a 5 or 6 digit password. This number will not change throughout their entire SPS career or if they switch schools.

How do I check my child's grades on Aspen?

How do I log on to a Chromebook?

You will need your child's Aspen number which is 111XXXXXX. Their email address is 111XXXXXX@k12.somerville.ma.us.

I want to Volunteer!

Great, to get started you must have a CORI form on file with the Somerville Public School. CORI forms are good for the school year, September-June. A new one must be submitted every school year. Then fill out this Volunteer form so we can see how you can help!
