Welcome to the web page for all of Metea's Club! Down below are all 12 of Metea's STEM clubs. Each has a page with basic information about the club as well as meeting times. Applications for clubs will also be in the information section.
There are a wide variety of STEM clubs that Metea offers, but sometimes there isn't a club to your wants. New clubs in Metea are welcomed but must follow steps to ensure of success
Step 1: Write a plan for your club. Try to write about what your club will accomplish and how you would plan to keep the club going for a year, and how it would run once you graduate. Continuity is one of the most important things for a club. Once your plan is written, you also must write a new club request document.
Step 2: Find a Sponsor. Email teachers that may be able to provide more robust insight into your club. Email the teacher inquiring about if they would be able to help start the club. Many teachers already lead clubs, so it may take a while to find someone who can sponsor for you
Step 3: Email Mr. DeBruycker about your new club. Once all the planning is done, you need to email Mr. DeBruycker to get it started. Clubs are usually only allowed to start in the first 1-2 weeks of the semester so figure out your plan well ahead of time.
