On November 20, 2024 the Sharkbytes news broadcasting class and the Shark Ambassadors visited the Olelo Studios in Mapunapua. We viewed planning areas, editing bays, control rooms, and film studios.
On October 30, 2019 the Sharkbytes news broadcasting class and the yearbook class visited KITV studios in Honolulu. We were given a tour of the studio, spoke with broadcast journalists, and tried out the blue screen. It was a fun and exciting experience to see how the news programs are produced in real life.
