Professional Development and Educational Research (PDERI)

The Professional Development and Educational Research Institute's (PDERI) goal is to prepare and provide a pool of qualified school leaders to meet the expectations of the Hawaii State Department of Education (Department) in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities to improve student learning in the public school system.  PDERI provides research-based professional learning opportunities to support Department school leaders and is responsible to certify and train school administrators per Hawai’i Revised Statutes and Department policy.
