2. At the bottom, click on Leeward

   1. Click "Early College/Running Start" 

3. Read the questions carefully and fill out the form, this should be the first question you see on the application. If it is not, then you are on the wrong app! 

   1. Are you a current Hawai'i high school student applying to take college courses while still in high school (Early College, Running Start, Early Admit, etc)?  YES

   2. PLEASE COMPLETE ALL THE QUESTIONS WITH THE *ASTERIC* SYMBOL NEXT TO THE QUESTION! 

4.  Submit

Go to the website: https://hawaii.edu/dualcredit 

1. Click on "Apply Now"

2. Click on the correct term (Fall 2024) 

3. Use the drop down to find Pearl City High

4. Enter in personal information 

(dont use ‘okina, kahakō, apostrophes, etc. in the form) 

5. GEAR UP SCHOLARSHIP: If you are on Free/Reduced Lunch then you would click YES. Otherwise answer should be NO. 

If you aren't sure, ask Ms. Arakawa!

6. For course info at the bottom:

For courses: Course Number (i.e. ENG 100 or SP 151) 

Credits: 3.0

Requirement: Choose either: HS REQ or HS Elective

HS Req (ENG, HIST, MATH)

HS Elective (ICS,  MGT,ACC,SP, HDFS, IS)

Location: College

Campus: Leeward Community College

9. Please sign on the student signature & get a parent/guardian's signature. You DO NOT need to get the Counselor or Principal signature!

2. Fill out and sign the second page

3. Both student and parent signatures required

Go to https://www.hawaii.edu/username/ to set up your username.  

1. Click on the Get a UH Username button

2. Fill out the check status form:

First & Last Name 

UH ID Number (Should have came in an email is 8-digits long) 

Birthdate 

3. Pick a username from the list provided 

4. Agree to the terms & conditions 

5. Create & answer two security questions (MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN/TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS) 

6. Create your password 

7. Submit

** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN YOUR UH USERNAME & PASSWORD AS THIS STAYS WITH YOU FOR LIFE**

Go to  the EdReady website: https://uhcc.edready.org/home 

1. Click on "Get Started"

2. Enter information

-Use your hawaii.edu email account

-UH ID (8-digit #)

-Campus: Leeward

3. Goal Key:  UH_LEE_Placement

4. Take the appropriate placement test. Click here to see which test to take! 

5. Passing score:  64 (English) or 72 (Math Path 1 & 2) or 85 (Math Path 3) 

6. Take a screenshot of your passing score that shows the top UHCC on the left, your name on the right & your score for the test. 

7. Screenshot can either be printed or shown when turning in your forms to A102. 

You will need to submit your signed Dual Credit Application, Parent/Guardian Consent Form, a screenshot of your EdReady score, and your UH ID number and Username! 

SPRING 2025 FORMS WILL BE COLLECTED IN A102, ALL FORMS DUE BY November 15th! 

DO NOT SUBMIT ANY FORMS TO MS. ARAKAWA OR MS. MURATA'S BOX IN THE FRONT OFFICE! ANY FORMS SUBMITTED THIS WAY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!  ALL FORMS ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 15TH! NO FORMS
