This mural, completed inside the H-Building at Kapolei High School, was designed and completed by Malisa Lo. With the help of Cristen Gadicho, these two students worked diligently to complete this work that encourages self-love and positivity.
Malisa won Safe Fleet's "United to End Bullying" contest for 2018 (shown to the right). Their goal is to offer tools and training to educators, youth groups and parents to teach resilience, kindness, compassion and to learn how to end bullying.

Kapolei High School stresses the importance of caring, dignity, and integrity, especially when dealing with issues such as bullying. Malisa discussed that self-love programs, targeted toward those who put themselves down, would be a great addition to the anti-bullying programs we already have. We look forward to improving our school and community, as we're so excited and proud of our own Malisa Lo for achieving this wonderful recognition of her astounding work.
