Summer Academy 2024
UPDATED INFORMATION AS OF 4/15/24
Dear Kalāheo Summer Academy Applicants:
Our Summer Academy is only for Kalāheo High School students and begins Thursday, June 6, 2024. It will be for all courses listed and conducted on-campus in person using the Edmentum program. Registration is from Thursday, April 18-May 26, 2024. If eligible, students are allowed to enroll in as many as two courses.
Students who wish to enroll for credit advancement will be allowed to do so only if space is available AND with approval from their school counselor. Space available for students wanting credit advancement will be determined after credit recovery students are registered.

Summer Academy credit recovery is available at no charge for eligible students.
Summer Academy Registration begins on April 18, 2024, open for Kalāheo High students eligible for credit recovery.
The final date to register is Tuesday, May 26, 2024.
Registration Process
1. All Kalāheo Summer Academy applicants must read the Registration Procedures and Information document found here. You will be asked to agree to this information on the registration form.
KHS SUMMER ACADEMY SCHEDULE
Year Course (24 instructional days) Thur. 6/6- Fri. 7/12
1st Semester (12 instructional days) Thur. 6/6 – Tues. 6/24
2nd Semester (13 instructional days) Wed. 6/25 – Fri. 7/12
No School: 6/10 (Kamehameha Day), 7/4 (Independence Day) and 7/5 (Friday)
Classes will be held on the Kalāheo campus Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon daily. A 15-minute recess is included.
2. Kalāheo High School students will need to verify course choices with their alpha counselor. Please see the posted list of courses available for credit recovery. Please note that credit recovery is for students who have failed a course. Students wanting advance credits will be given access to Summer Academy if space is available.
3. Complete the Registration Form. As a reminder, All Kalāheo Summer Academy applicants must read the Registration Procedures and Information document found here. You will be asked to agree to this information on the registration form.
