HEART HEALTH CHALLENGE:

Hello students!!!! Since we will not be in school for our Heart Health Challenge (Jump Rope for Heart) we wanted to provide you all with a Heart Health Challenge you could do at home! It is a 10 day fitness challenge for you and your family, it includes activities, info on physical fitness, and even some healthy recipes to try out at home. Enjoy!

We will be providing you with two days at a time!

DAY 1:

- Daily Activity: Get the Whole Family Moving at Home , Dance it out

- Recipe: Berry Nuts Granola Bars and Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup

- Fitness Challenge: 10 Push Ups

*This is a great way to learn some new jump rope skills and review some old ones!

DAY 5

- Daily Activity: Homework with Heart

- Recipe: Slow Cooker Barbeque Chicken and Frozen Yogurt Pops

- Fitness Challenge: Deck of Cards Workout

Get a deck of cards. You can use a whole deck, or a half, up to you. Assign each suit with a different exercise. Each number on the card represents how many reps you do.

For example: Hearts = jumping jacks

Clubs = push ups

Spades = crab kicks

Diamonds = star jumps
