Massachusetts Children Book Award

Andover Public Schools' [4th and 5th and] and Doherty sixth graders are once again invited to participate in the Massachusetts Children’s Book Award (MCBA) Program. This is a wonderful way to discover great new books to read!

The library will have some copies of many of the nominated books available to check out, but students are encouraged to also look for the books at public libraries.

Students who read at least 5 of the 25 nominated books are eligible to vote for their favorite right after February vacation. The winner will be announced the end of March. We will have lunch together to chat about our votes and opinions the first week in April!

Remember, only MA students vote for the book, not adults! Exciting, isn't it?
