PICO's goals is to strengthen the individual, family, and community by encouraging parents to become advocates for their child's education, providing resources and services that will foster the growth of a child's development and school readiness, and connecting community organization to collaborate towards building a healthier connected community. We are here to provide some help during this time for the social and emotional wellbeing of our community. Social-emotional wellness can be defined as the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
