Curious and active learners will have the opportunity to learn about getting their body moving in different ways through proper stretching, different kinds of workouts, sports activities, dances, and physical games! They will have the opportunity to participate and share their love of movement with other students. As they are immersed in physical education, they will practice self/social awareness, self management, relationship skills, and practice making responsible decisions.

In this class, students will train to become Growth Mindset Ninjas! The training will include participating in short plays, creating art projects, playing games, and reading and writing about how having a Growth Mindset will help them become students who LOVE a challenge, UNDERSTAND that mistakes are part of learning and growing, and ENJOY working hard to keep learning. After just 16 short days, students will leave with increased confidence and self-esteem. They will truly grow their brains!

This will be a class that teaches students about famous artists from around the world. Students will research and read about the artists, write about the artists and make their own masterpieces to take home. We will be making 30 art projects that focus on 10 famous artists. Some of the goals of the class are to enjoy the exploration of other cultures through art, writing and engaging discussions.

Students will have the opportunity to research the science and reasoning behind and then build bridges, Newton's cradle, elevators, boats, airplanes, launchers and more.

In this course, students will explore the world of STEAM. Students will engage in computational design to create useful things in a fabrication lab setting. Students will participate in hands-on fabrication projects related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with an emphasis in art. Each project will need a number of days to complete. There will be introductory lessons to learn the basic principles for a 3D printer, vinyl cutter, and digital embroidery and sewing machine.

Sharks, dolphins, and whales, oh my! Come discover the mysteries of the deep in Ocean Exploration Club. We will learn about the ocean and its creatures through hands-on science experiments, virtual field trips, arts & crafts, and even a real dissection!

This course will offer the opportunity for students to engage in activities such as arts and crafts and SEL. It will focus on challenging student's critical thinking, problem solving skills , enhance social skills and provide team building exercises while embracing art and culture. This course will focus on SEL , to help students have a better understanding of their emotions and how to manage them in a school environment. Observing, analyzing, and understanding art will build SEL competencies.

Students will learn about famous artists, including the rich history of the artists’ birth places, what inspirations led them to become artists, including aspirations, self-awareness, and social-awareness that inspired them. They will explore and learn how to use a variety of mediums, paints, colored pencils, and watercolors.
