Learning the essential reading skills in recognizing the grade-level words or vocabularies, and sentence structures. These skills will support the students to increase their fluency in speed and accuracy in reading, and writing sentences. The examples of reading activities are learning syllables, pronouns, singular/plural words, word endings, common/proper nouns, and types of sentences.

Aprender las habilidades de lectura esenciales para reconocer las palabras o vocabularios del nivel de grado y las estructuras de las oraciones. Estas habilidades ayudarán a los estudiantes a aumentar su fluidez, velocidad y precisión en la lectura y escritura de oraciones. Los ejemplos de actividades de lectura son el aprendizaje de sílabas, pronombres, palabras singulares/plurales, terminaciones de palabras, nombres comunes/propios y tipos de oraciones.

Join us this summer for a fun and exciting way to learn.In our course we will be covering all academic areas but mainly focusing on STEM and social emotional learning. We are offering students an opportunity to change their way of learning and giving students the experience to different subjects applicable to their future. Together we will use problem solving skills, team work, use critical thinking, and a whole lot of fun.

Únase a nosotros este verano para una forma divertida y emocionante de aprender. En nuestro curso cubriremos todas las áreas académicas, pero nos centraremos principalmente en STEM y el aprendizaje socioemocional. Estamos ofreciendo a los estudiantes la oportunidad de cambiar su forma de aprender y brindando a los estudiantes la experiencia de diferentes temas aplicables a su futuro. Juntos usaremos habilidades para resolver problemas, trabajo en equipo, usaremos el pensamiento crítico y mucha diversión.

Students will be using their creativity through the arts and cooking while building their emotional wellbeing.

Los estudiantes usarán su creatividad a través de las artes y la cocina mientras construyen su bienestar emocional.

Students will be encouraged to work together, talk, laugh and have fun! Projects include using a paint-pouring technique where students get to choose their own colors, then mix and pour onto a canvas to create a painting. We will also paint using acrylics and brushes and create a collage. This course will empower students with self-confidence as they use their own ideas and abilities creating art in a supportive environment. We will also plan an art show for the last day. Students will create paintings and poetry as well as learn how to write creative stories.

Join me this summer to learn all about how the magic of Music Production works and create your own original songs! By the end of this course students will be able to identify what sound is and how it works, write and record original music using just a Chromebook, edit, mix and produce music in a digital audio workstation, and work with real studio recording equipment! This course is an art based approach to Social Emotional Learning. Students will engage in art projects that are designed to foster the process of learning, practicing, reflecting, and adjusting practices in an effort to improve overall student efficacy while empowering students to become active participants in the learning process while teaching them how to positively engage with other students to support student achievement for all.
