Students will spend the morning learning soccer, basketball and jump rope skills. After that, they will go into the classroom, write in their journals, and learn about their emotions and ways to relax through yoga. Finally, they will study an artist and create a masterpiece each week through paint, pastels, watercolor and other art media.

Los estudiantes pasarán la mañana aprendiendo fútbol, baloncesto y saltar la cuerda. Después de eso, irán al salón de clases, escribirán en sus diarios y aprenderán sobre sus emociones y formas de relajarse a través del yoga. Finalmente, estudiarán a un artista y crearán una obra maestra cada semana a través de pintura, pasteles, acuarela y otros medios artísticos.

Learn, create, move your body, connect with friends, and have fun this summer! Create works of art through painting, drawing, pastels, and more as we study and learn from the masters. Enjoy some fun in the sun while we learn and practice skills in soccer, jumprope, tennis, and more!

Each week we will be focusing on a different artist style, technique and work of art. Students will then have the opportunity to practice drawing and painting their own version. The Overall expectation is that Children will enjoy working both individually and in small groups to create their artwork. A portfolio will be kept of each student’s work and will be sent home at the end of the course.

Students will explore and learn about past famous artists while creating their own masterpieces using a variety of art materials. Learn about Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and Diego Rivera's "Flower Seller" and many more.
