Jurupa Middle School, built in the early 1950s, is currently undergoing a campuswide classroom modernization. In 2020, the school opened a new office and classroom building which kickstarted the campus wide modernization of the existing classrooms. The classroom buildings are receiving new roofs, ceilings, lights, walls, flooring, whiteboards, and interactive projectors. The exterior improvements also include upgraded accessibility throughout campus, new storm drain and utility infrastructure, new asphalt hardcourts, and new landscaping. Additional seismic improvements are also being made to classrooms based on the original construction type of the buildings. The existing multi-purpose room is not included in the scope of current improvements due to lack of available funding but is included in the district's Facilities Master Plan to complete when additional facility funding becomes available.
