Zach Gerdowsky is a dedicated student at Batesville High School with deep involvement in extracurricular activities. As an active member of the drama club, key club, student council, and a valuable assistant to the BHS marching band, Zach thrives on contributing to his school community both during and after school hours.

Within the drama club, Zach plays a vital role on the set crew, where he builds and paints sets and works behind the scenes to ensure smooth scene transitions during performances. His dedication reflects his creativity, teamwork, and strong work ethic.

Since 2023, Zach has assisted the BHS marching band at football games and competitions, helping with instrument logistics and equipment management. His commitment demonstrates reliability and a passion for supporting others.

At Junifon Enlightenment, Zach serves as an administrative assistant, where he manages communications, designs promotional materials, helps coordinate programs and events, and supports daily operations. He plays an active role in marketing by creating social media content, newsletters, flyers, and promotional graphics that reflect the organization’s mission and brand. Through his work, Zach helps ensure a professional, welcoming environment for students and families while contributing creatively behind the scenes.

During his senior year, Zach completed a mentorship with the Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC), where he further developed his skills in digital design and creative principles. He is also completing a marketing mentorship at Amack’s Well, designing flyers, producing videos, and creating social media content to expand his graphic design and visual communication experience.

Looking ahead, Zach plans to attend Northern Kentucky University (NKU) to earn his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Visual Communication, with a minor in either Studio Arts or Photography. He is passionate about using creativity and design to make a meaningful impact and looks forward to continuing his journey of growth and artistic development.

Balancing his commitment to Junifon Enlightenment with his educational pursuits, Zach eagerly anticipates the journey of growth and learning ahead, where he can leverage his skills to create impactful designs and make a difference in the world.
