Zach Gerdowsky is a dedicated student at Batesville High School with a deep involvement in extracurricular activities. As an active member of the drama club, student council, and a valuable assistant to the BHS marching band, Zach thrives in contributing to his school community both during and after school hours.

Within the drama club, Zach plays a vital role in the set crew, where he meticulously builds and paints sets for plays. During performances, he operates behind the scenes, ensuring seamless scene transitions and maintaining the stage's integrity. Zach's commitment to the set crew stems from his desire to support his school and utilize his skills to enhance productions.

In his involvement with the marching band since 2023, Zach has found immense fulfillment. Assisting during football games and competitions, Zach takes on various responsibilities, including instrument logistics and equipment management. His dedication to streamlining operations for the marching band reflects his eagerness to contribute and help them achieve success.

Zach's enthusiasm for helping others extends to his role at Junifon Enlightenment, where he embraces the opportunity to make a positive impact. As an administrative assistant, he approaches his first job with a sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring efficient operations. Understanding the importance of support during challenging times, Zach is dedicated to assisting others and ensuring smooth business functioning.

Looking ahead, Zach harbors a passion for drawing, whether in video game design or graphic design. To purse this dream, he will be attending NKU to major in Digital Desgin and minor in Animation. During his senior year of high school, Zach will be participating in a mentorship at the Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC) to further develop his skills in digital desgisn and design principles. 

Balancing his commitment to Junifon Enlightenment with his educational pursuits, Zach eagerly anticipates the journey of growth and learning ahead, where he can leverage his skills to create impactful designs and make a difference in the world.
