Mr. Austin Balser embarked on his instructing journey in the summer of 2021 at Miss Shannon’s Music Studio, initially focusing on group percussion and children’s theater. His passion for teaching and music fueled his dedication as he honed his skills in these areas.

Throughout this journey, Mr. Balser, a dedicated student at Batesville High School, has consistently pursued his aspirations. He is currently enrolled in a dual-credit program in Business Administration through Ivy Tech Community College, furthering his knowledge in leadership and organizational management.

In the summer of 2022, he founded Batesville Tutoring, offering affordable and customized tutoring services to empower students on their academic paths.

In December 2022, while expanding his teaching portfolio to include swim instruction and Ninjastics coaching at the Southeastern Indiana YMCA, Mr. Balser’s commitment to diverse educational avenues became evident.

Transitioning into 2024, Mr. Balser led Batesville Tutoring through a significant evolution, transforming it into Junifon Enlightenment—a groundbreaking platform geared toward personalized academic growth and support. In just a short period, he has led Junifon Enlightenment to unbelievable heights, impacting the lives of many students and families. This marked a pivotal moment for his company’s direction and commitment to innovative education practices.

Simultaneously, at the start of 2024, Mr. Balser assumed the role of Program Coordinator for the Ninjastics program at the Southeastern Indiana YMCA, embracing a leadership position that complemented his passion for instruction and development.

Looking ahead, Mr. Balser plans to attend Marian University, where he will major in Social Studies Education, with aspirations of teaching at the middle or high school level. His long-term academic goals include earning a master’s degree in School Administration and a PhD in Educational Leadership. Ultimately, he aims to become an inspiring Middle School Principal and a book author on education and leadership topics, striving to shape the future of education through both practice and writing.
