Existential issues
This JCMUN our committees are based on solving the most pressing global issues that actually matter and will forever change the face of humanity, it will be up to you to solve these issues. You will have the chance to confront a wide range of these issues in you committees through cooperation whilst advocating for your country's interests.
Future solutions
The only way to solve these issues is to adopt new ideas.
In this JCMUN you will learn how to work with others to solve pressing global issues using advanced solutions.
New and complex problems require new and complex solutions.
The only people who can solve modern problems are those who understand today's word.
General Assembly
General Assembly committees are resolution-based and larger sized with around 50 delegates each, covering key International issues. These committees will be located in bespoke auditorium style rooms offering a unique experience unlike any other MUN conference in the region. They will be staffed by the most skilled chairs in the region including multiple Secretary-Generals of Dubai's premier MUN conferences.
This style of committee is unique to JCMUN, unlike any other in the region, allowing for a more realistic simulation of the real United Nations and the complexities of global politics amongst many different actors. We have procedures in place to maximise delegate speaking time and to allow everyone to have an impact.

Economic and Social Council Committees
Economic and Social Council Committees are resolution-based and medium Committees with around 30 delegates each, covering specific technical issues in areas of economics of social development. The committees will be located in classroom style rooms allowing for each delegate to have more speaking time. Like general assembly committees the economic and social council commitees will be chaired by the most experienced in the region.

Crisis Committees
Crisis Committees are directive-based and small-sized committees of around 15 delegates each allowing for a realistic simulation of fast-paced challenges. Uniquely to JCMUN these will be based on solving modern problems using future solutions. Apart from Crisis Committees all delegates will get experience spontaneity and challenge with unexpected scenarios and crises in all other committees.
This year the secretariat decided to only have one crisis committee to focus all of our crisis related efforts into one body providing delegates an experience unlike anyother.

The unique sizes and structure of JCMUN committees offer a unique experience unlike any other. Our topic focus offers a deeper more policy focused approach to international issues whilst being engaging. We have carefully selected committee chairs from the most experienced chairs in the region and have trained them specifically to JCMUN standard.
Throughout the conference elements of delegate to delegate interaction and crisis events offer a more acurate simulation of international relations.
Awards
Our secretariat awards traditional committee awards, these are highly sought after especially in our large and medium sized committees where many capable delegates compete for an award.
Additionally, the Secretary General bestows the annual Jumeirah Diplomacy Award to the best overall delegate of the conference.
