My name is Kayla Goodman. I grew up in Junction City, Oregon and my husband and I live in Payson, UT. I attended Brigham Young University- Provo and Western Governor's University. I graduated from BYU in August 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Family Life and completed my teaching certificate April 2015 in Family and Consumer Sciences Education (FCS Ed). I graduated from WGU with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in May 2018. 

I started teaching at JHS August 2015 and love it! I teach Food and Nutrition I (Foods I), Culinary 1 (Foods 2), Baking and Pastry (Foods 3), Child Development, Sewing 1 (Sports and Outdoor Design) and am the advisor for FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America).

In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing piano, working on my house, and being with friends and family. I love caramel popcorn and zero sugar cherry Pepsi!
