Professional Experience:
I began my teaching career in 2008 and have since gained diverse experience in education. I served as a special education teacher and academic advisor at Heritage Schools, a residential treatment center for high school students, where I worked closely with students facing significant challenges, helping them navigate both academic and personal growth.
Building on that experience, I transitioned to Alpine School District as a Behavior Specialist. In this role, I supported students with diverse behavioral needs, collaborating with educators and families to create positive learning environments.
These experiences have deepened my commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and engaging educational settings. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed and grow in a community that values their unique strengths.
Personal Interests:
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my family. Some of my favorite hobbies include hunting, riding horses, traveling, and making memories with loved ones. These activities provide balance and perspective, reminding me of the importance of connection and well-being.
