Hi, I am Jake Downard. I was raised in Hoytsville, Utah. I am a graduate of North Summit High School Class of 2002. I began teaching in 2009 and have been at Juab High School since 2010. I have been married to my sweetheart Lyndsay, who is a counselor at the Junior High School. We have four sons Wyatt, Bryson, Taylor, and Jordy.

I received my B.A. from Utah State University with a History Major, Sociology Minor and a P.E. endorsement. I have also completed my M.Ed with an administrative endorsement from Southern Utah University.

I am entering my 14th year of Teaching. Have been coaching football at Juab for 13 years and 17th year overall. The classes that I will be teaching this year are weights, intro to weights, sports officiating, and Fitness for Life.
