David Fletcher
I grew up in Springville, Utah and graduated from SHS in 1985. I participated in several extra curricular activities throughout my career while attending SHS. Such as: Tennis, Football, Wrestling, and Baseball being my favorite. Being involved was an important part of enjoying my high school experience. The relationships that I was able to forge with friends, teacher, and coaches helped encourage me to become an educator.
I started my teaching career in the fall of 1995 in Ogden.
I have been teaching at Juab High School since the fall of 1997.
I have attended several Utah colleges in the process of developing my skills and talents. Most recently in 2009 earning a Masters in Education with an Administrative Endorsement from Southern Utah University.
I can usually be found in the Wood shop creating something. Or on the road doing Drivers Education. Since coming here I have been involved with many organizations such as: Community Council, Department chair, Woodworking Association for the state of Utah, Juab Education Association, Juab High School representative, Negotiation team, Jr. Prom committee, and coached baseball, tennis, and soccer. My rewards for teaching is when a student comes back after graduating and tells me all about what they are doing and how something they learned in class has helped them become who they are today.
I am married with three children. We have really enjoy living in the Nephi area and the possibilities it has awarded us to develop and grow into whom we are today.
