I grew up in Mona, and I'm a proud graduate of Juab High. I received an English Teaching Degree from Brigham Young University in 2000, an EdTech Endorsement in 2021, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from SUU in 2023.
My teaching experience began in Nebo School District at Spanish Fork Middle, then Payson High School.
I married a basketball-loving Texan and took some time to raise four busy boys, yet I kept my toe in education as an elementary and secondary substitute: I even taught US and world history. Eventually Juab Junior High enticed me back, and from there I returned full-time at Juab High. I have taught secondary English to every grade and aptitude.
My educational experience in various grades and subjects provides valuable perspective for my current role as an instructional coach. Luckily, I'll still teach students in college prep language arts and serve as the Sterling Scholar Advisor.
It is a pleasure to work at my alma mater; I enjoy contributing to a place that I love.
