Hi! I am Alisse Dinkel, and I teach English 9. I grew up in Nephi. My husband's family is also from Nephi, and we both still have a lot of family here. I spent most of my childhood on the back of a horse or down at the pool. I graduated from Juab High, then went on to study at Utah Valley University. I enjoyed doing speech, debate, and drama in High School. I got married during my time at UVU. Years later, I graduated from Utah State with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in English.

I started teaching in 2018, and I currently teach English 9. I love discussing different stories and perspectives with students. In my spare time, I'm always reading a variety of fiction and non fiction books. I enjoy reading just about any genre of literature. I always wanted to be a teacher, but I took some time off while my four kids were little. We live in Genola with horses, dogs, cats, and chickens. We enjoy traveling as a family and just spending time outdoors.
