All JES students, K-6, started off the year with a school-wide collaborative mural!

Younger students talked about features of a self-portrait, while older students looked at proportions of the face. All students created patterned backgrounds inspired by the artist Kehinde Wiley. Our mural is located near the cafeteria.

What a fun way to start off the year! Way to go artists!
