WELCOME TO THE PENN KIDDER CAMPUS SCHOOL LIBRARY

We are bringing STEM to the library media center. This means that we’re introducing brand new lessons and projects into the curriculum which will utilize 21st century skills (like collaboration, creativity, problem solving and critical thinking) and topics learned in science, reading, art, and mathematics to foster skills needed in future engineering and technology jobs.

Throughout the year in the media center, students will be partaking in assignments to help not only their research skills in obtaining background information for the project, but also to help their ability to apply real-world know how with similar situations that they will no doubt encounter later in life.

Who is in the Library?

Hi my name is Mr. Chlubicki, I have been a teacher for the Jim Thorpe Area School District since 2009. Over the years I have had the pleasure of teaching elementary education, middle school mathematics, and middle school science. Now I am the STEM Specialist and Technology Coach. I have always been a tech enthusiast and I am very excited for this change. I can not wait to work with students on 21st century skills in a STEM environment. If you or your child have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by phone at (570) 722-1150 or email at rchlubicki@jtasd.org. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
