Meet Mrs. Robertson
Hello! My name is Nicole Robertson, and I am so excited to be teaching Health Science Theory and the Pharmacy Technician Program at Joshua High School this year!
Before stepping into the classroom, I spent the past 15 years as a Registered Nurse, primarily working in Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics, including many years serving as a Labor & Delivery Charge Nurse. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and throughout my nursing career, one thing has always remained constant—I love to teach.
Whether I am at the bedside educating a patient and her family, helping a fellow nurse learn a new skill, mentoring someone entering healthcare, or standing in front of a classroom, education is truly my passion, my joy, and my love. I am incredibly excited to bring my real-world healthcare experience into the classroom and help my students discover their own interests and passions within the healthcare field.
My family and I are also proud to call this community home. I am a mother of three wonderful children—a senior at Joshua High School, an eighth grader at Loflin Middle School, and a fourth grader at Staples Elementary. We live here, work here, attend school here, and believe deeply in investing in our community and helping make it an even better place for the families who call it home.
More than anything, I want my classroom to be a place where students feel welcomed, supported, challenged, and excited to learn. My goal is not only to prepare them academically and professionally, but also to help them grow in confidence as they begin exploring their futures in healthcare.
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and to getting to know each of my students and their families. Please never hesitate to reach out to me with questions or concerns regarding your student, their progress, or their grades. I truly believe that when families, students, and educators work together, we give our students the very best opportunity to succeed.
I am proud to be part of Joshua High School, and I cannot wait to see what this year brings!
