Hi there! My name is Landon Gillaspie, and I'm excited to be teaching World History and U.S. Government this year. I am passionate about helping students explore the past and understand how it shapes the world we live in today. In World History, we dive into major civilizations, turning points, and global connections that have influenced human progress. In U.S. Government, we focus on the foundations and functions of our governmental systems, encouraging students to become informed and engaged citizens. My classroom is built on respect, hard work, and critical thinking. I strive to create a space where every student feels empowered to ask questions, challenge ideas, and make connections between history, government, and their civic responsibilities. I'm looking forward to a great year of learning and discovery. About Me

Before entering education, I served six years in the U.S. Army, including two years in support of the Global War on Terror. That experience taught me the value of discipline, leadership, and service-principles I now carry into the classroom every day. In addition to teaching, I coach both football and soccer, and I'm a passionate outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing.
