Welcome to Miss Rose's Art 1, Art 2, and Art 3 classes!
I am looking forward to an amazing school year together as we learn all about art and design. My goal is to produce some of the best artwork LMS has ever seen!

About me
This is my fifth year at Loflin, and my third year teaching art. I graduated from the Art Institute with my Bachelors of Fine Arts, majoring in graphic design. I hold minors in web design, photography, media arts and animation, and advertisement design.
My mom (Mrs. Rose) also works at Loflin as a 6th grade English Language Arts teacher. Many students have both of us and love noting the similarities and differences between us!
Pictured with me is my boyfriend, Todd. We have been together for 10 years now. We haven't had any kids, but have a tiny bird we love very much, even if he does like to screech at us when he's excited.
I love art (obviously!), am an avid reader, and enjoy spending time with my family. I am very crafting and love building things like book nooks, complex lego sets, and more. If I am not drawing or have my nose in a book, you can usually find me playing video games, crocheting, or nerding out about all the shows and movies I love.
Class Procedures
Class Procedures
Each day, we will follow these procedures to begin class.
Greet your teacher at the door. (Line up in the hallway if I am not there)
Enter the classroom quietly, get your sketchbook from your classes basket, and sit in your seat. Check the board for the daily agenda to see if you will need your chromebook.
Complete your bell work in your sketchbook.
Once bellwork is complete, we will move on to our projects or class work. Bellwork will be checked and graded every Friday for the whole week.
At the end of class, please stay at your seat until the bell. When you leave your seat, please push in your chair.
Tutoring times
Tutoring times
Tutoring will be offered for students who need extra help or time on any projects or assignments. If the student needs to come to tutoring, they need to sign up with me and we will set a date and time to come in.
