Financial Aid
FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The purpose of the application is for students to apply to receive financial aid from the government to pay for college. Also, many scholarships require that students complete the FAFSA before awarding money. Financial can come in three forms:
Grants – Similar to scholarships in that they don’t need to be repaid; grants are income-based
Loans – Must be repaid
Work study – Students are awarded a certain amount of money which must be earned through working for the college
