It's awesome to meet you! I have been teaching for 15 years and truly love my job. I'm excited to share my crazy family stories to help you connect with literature. Above you can see we survived the NC Zoo this past summer in blistering heat!

Important things we learned at the NC Zoo:

1. The best AC in NC is in the Arctic exhibit.

2. A turtle can out race a lizard.

3. When a butterfly uses us as a vehicle of escape, you name him Geronimo.

4. Lemurs are bigger than you think.

5. Most elusive animals are rhinoceros and ocelots.

6. Most majestic animal is the flamingo - one foot wonders.

7. Best quote: Aileen said, "I can't see a buffalo in front of me, but I can see a dipping dots sign from far away." :)
