What is the name of your facility?
The company is Edgewater Recovery Center
Where are you located?
Morehead, Paducah, and Pikeville Ky
Do you have services for both men and women? Yes
If so, what services? We have men's facilities- which in the court system are called Edgewater. These facilities are located in Morehead, Paducah, and Pikeville. Womens facilities in the court system are called Blue Sky and they are located in Morehead.
Does your program/services cost those in recovery? We do bill insurance, but we also find other ways to get people paid- so that way we don't turn people away just because they don't have a way to pay. We can figure it out; we don't turn away people needing help program services
Are your program/services inpatient, outpatient, or both? Both, there are 3 phases to complete to work your way through our program.
How long does it take for an addict to complete the program? To complete our program it takes 6 months. Some people may have different orders. They may only have to complete 60 or 90 days or they may be released to a different outpatient program. If released to a different outpatient program, their requirements may change. But to complete a program with Edgewater, it is 6 months.
What requirements are needed for an addict to receive inpatient services? Outpatient Services? Requirements are simple- you just need to have an addiction and want help. We do also work with some mental health things if necessary. If they need more help than we can provide on-site then we do what we take the necessary steps to refer them somewhere else.
Are additional services provided while addicts in your program? Is additional help provided once an individual has graduated from your program? Additional Services provided include mental health therapy- the therapist will start out having one session every week and then as they step down the number of sessions, they can also get case managers. A case manager is someone who will help them get link to the community- for example- if they need a driver's license, if they need help with food stamps, if they're working a DCS case (DCS cases if their kids are in foster care or being cared for by a family member) We can provide help with all of those things while they're in treatment, also if they need help with Social Security or anything like that we can provide those Services as well..
