Curriculum
Students at John Colet School get the opportunity to explore a wide range of different areas. Throughout KS3 students sample four different areas of Design and Technology:
Papers & Boards
Timbers
Food Preparation & Nutrition
Textiles
Once students are in KS4 they have the option to choose a specific DT course, specialising in different material areas. Beginning to prepare themselves for their futures, post-16 and after-education.
The curriculum overviews summarise the journey students take through the course. These are a great help to students trying to understand what, why and how they are going to be doing over their time with us in DT.
